A.Y Jackson Glee Club Sings Anthem at City Council

At the October 12 Council Meeting A.Y Jackson’s Glee Club sang our National Anthem. A special thanks to Mrs Henkelman their Teacher who told me the Club is very excited and honoured to be singing our national anthem for us. The A Y Jackson Glee Club was only formed this past January as a group of Grade 9 to 12’s who share a love of music and singing.The Club has performed in the “Wish Upon a Gleek” charity fundraiser and numerous community venues including retirement residences and other schools.
