Speed Board
Councillor Hubley has heard from a number of residents in regards to speeding on residential roads within the community. He has been working with city staff to deploy certain traffic calming measures such as the pictured speed board below. These boards are a helpful tool that benefit residents, City staff and Ottawa Police Services.
In response to these concerns, Councillor Hubley now has a speed board that is to be used exclusively for the residents of Kanata South. If you would like a speed board placed on a street in your community, please contact Councillor Hubley by email: Allan.Hubley@ottawa.ca or by phone at 613-580-2752.
Current deployment: This street is a 40km/h collector roadway in Glen Cairn. Here are just a few photos showing the range of speed collected by the board.
