Charges laid for recent Kanata area theft from vehicles

(Ottawa) — The Ottawa Police Service has arrested and charged two sixteen year old males who are responsible for thefts from vehicles in Kanata.

During the night of September 2, 2013, patrol officers attended the area of Hazeldean Mall in Kanata to respond to a call where youths were possibly breaking into vehicles.  Patrol then arrested the two males after several vehicles were broken into.

The two young offenders, 16 years old, have been charged with Theft, Mischief to property and Possession of stolen property.
