Councillor Hubley Applauds Successful Environment Assessment Open House

Press Release

Friday April 26, 2013

Kanata –     Yesterday the first public open house to discuss Kanata South Class Environmental Assessment Study (Hope and Richmond to West Hunt Club Road) was held at the Kanata Recreation Centre.

“Thank you to everyone who came out and participated in the discussion last night,” said Councillor Hubley. “I was especially pleased to have the NCC send a representative, and would like to applaud their cooperation and contribution as we review this important proposal.”

I was elected on a commitment to our community to keep taxes at a reasonable level, improve hydro reliability, and make smart infrastructure investments.  One example, would be addressing the traffic issues in Bridlewood. Along with the investments on Stonehaven and Crownridge, the solutions flowing from this EA will deliver on those commitments.

A second open house will be held later this year to further consult with residents, the date and location will be publicized once the meeting is scheduled.  For more information about the project, please visit:
