Councillor Hubley Meets Real Estate Agents

Kanata – Councillor Allan Hubley of Kanata South met with over 40 real estate agents from Kanata to highlight the commercial and residential opportunities available in the community.

“Kanata South is a great place to live and provides an exciting opportunity for family and business to thrive,” said Councillor Hubley.

The Councillor, who was joined by City of Ottawa staff, outlined the infrastructure upgrades and facilities that make Kanata an attractive part of the city to invest and live in. 

Special attention was paid to the over $30 million of investment in infrastructure spent to ensure that improvements were made to the sewer and water management systems in the West end. 

In particular Hubley highlighted:

  • Hazeldean Pumping Station Improvements ($7.9 million)
  • Kanata West Pumping Station and Forcemains ($28.3 million)
  • Terry Fox Stormwater Management Pond ($8 million)
  • Hazeldean Road Watermain Upgrade  ($6.8 million)

Councillor Hubley emphasized that, “The projects I have delivered since my election, meet my commitments to taxpayers to provide the necessary flood mitigation infrastructure for Kanata South.”
