Overland Drainage Improvements at Dunoon Place

The firm Ottawa D-Squared Construction Ltd. has been engaged to carry-out a project as part of the West End Flood Mitigation Program for overland drainage improvements on Dunoon Place. Construction is tentatively scheduled to start during the week of July 16, 2012. Barring any construction delays, this project is expected to be completed by late summer 2012.

The project involves the re-grading (i.e. lowering) of the existing paved pathway located between the cul-de-sac on Dunoon Place and the Carp River in order to provide localised flood relief.

 

To allow the work to be completed in a timely manner, the pathway will be closed during construction.

 

As part of this contract, Ottawa D-Squared Ltd. is assuming full responsibility for the construction work until it is entirely completed. Their company will take every precaution to minimize interruptions to the normal living of your family. This work may result in some inconvenience to you such as noise, dust, and possible vibrations during construction.

 

The Ottawa Construction Association has requested your assistance in minimizing theft of construction equipment. If you notice any unusual activity on the job site between 7:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. (overnight), please contact the police.
