Castlefrank Rd. Regrading & Laurie Ct.

Please note that the reconstruction of the Castlefrank Road regrading (Sheldrake Drive to Terry Fox Drive) & Laurie Court pathway (Binscarth Dr. to Laurie Ct.) are identified in the Glen Cairn Flood Investigation (GCFI) Report dated 2 March 2010.  This work will begin in May 2012 with completion by August 17, 2012.

This work may result in some inconvenience to you such as minor delays in traveling along Castlefrank Drive as traffic will be reduced to one lane in one direction with flagging during construction.

In trying to keep the work place as safe as possible, the City of Ottawa respectfully requests that all residents and pedestrian exercise extreme caution when walking or cycling through the construction site until the work is completed.

The Contractor, Goldie Mohr Ltd. is expected to start Contract work the week of 14 May 2012 with substantial completion by 27 July 2012.  The project involves reconstruction of Castlefrank Road from Sheldrake Dr. to Terry Fox Dr. roadway regrading and Laurie Court pathway overland flow route improvement. For the duration of the Contract, Goldie Mohr Ltd. will take every precaution to minimize interruptions to the everyday life of the residents, but as you can appreciate, there may be some inconvenience during the course of the work, such as minor delays in travelling through the construction zone, and noise.
