KS – March 9, 2017

Week in Review

Thank you to all the residents who came out to my 7th Annual Women’s Day Celebration this past Tuesday.  It was a great evening and I would like to thank the staff at Don Cherry’s for their great service. I would also like to Thank my very special guest speakers, MP Karen McCrimmon and CTV’s Catherine Lathem for being with us.  Thank you both again!

The 2017 outdoor rink season will be coming to an end shortly and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the outdoor rink volunteers for their many hours volunteering to keep our outdoor community rinks in great condition for all to enjoy.  If you would like to volunteer at any rink in Kanata South, please contact your community association for more details.

2017 Project

As a 2017 project I am pleased to invite you to join me in documenting the people, places and activities that make Kanata South a great place to live, work and play.

Please send me your ideas of who you think should be highlighted in our book and why.

We will gather all your responses and compile them into a memory book available to everyone and placed in the Library for future generations to have a snapshot of what made Kanata South special in 2017.

More details regarding this project can be found on my website under the Community tab.
