Clarence Maheral Park Earth Berm
The existing catch basins and leads to the park were inadequate for the proposed sewer needs in Clarence Maheral Park. Therefore, the requirement for a new storm sewer drainage system with a new connection to the existing storm sewer on Castlefrank Road. Due to the new connection in Castlefrank our contractor was required to install a new maintenance hole on the existing 750 mm storm sewer.
Construction work to construct a new storm sewer connection in Castlefrank Road between Sheldrake Drive and Glamorgan Drive at Clarence Maheral Park entrance is scheduled to begin on Monday, May 14, 2012 and will require temporary lane closure until completion of the work in end May 2012.
Castlefrank Road will be narrowed to one lane in one direction where the work is occurring and traffic will be flagged through the construction zone. The lane will be narrow and cyclists will be required to use the vehicle lane. Slow moving traffic and delays are expected during construction. Drivers are asked to use extra caution while following signs through the construction zone or consider alternate routes.
Thank you in advance for your patience.
